| The Benny ™ Prepaid Benefits Card is a special-purpose Visa® card that your employer may offer to you for use in conjunction with your flexible spending account (FSA) and/or health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Cardholders simply swipe the Card at the point of sale for qualified medical, dental, or vision care costs, and the funds are automatically deducted from the applicable benefit account(s) for payment to the service provider. Benny Card eliminates most out-of-pocket cash expenditures and paperwork, and the need to wait for reimbursement.
Card Activation
If your employer has authorized debit cards for your use, and you properly request the Card, you will receive two Cards in the mail; one for you and either a spare Card for you, or a Card for another eligible family member. Each cardholder should sign his/her own name to the back of the Card. The Cards will have the same account number, which is linked to the employee. Once you receive the Cards, they will require activation prior to their use. Activating one Card will activate all Cards associated with that specific account number. Benny Card Substantiation
Each time you use your Benny Card, the debit card swipe must be properly substantiated. This is a very strict IRS rule and noncompliance can result in disqualification. Select the following link to learn more.
Benny Card Account Access
With the Benny Card, you will have access to all your transaction information through Benny Card’s website. You can view several pieces of information concerning your specific Card, such as the account balance, year-to-date settlements, and outstanding substantiation requirements.
